Nevada history comes alive in the skilled hands of Reno writer Sally Springmeyer Zanjani. She will write a monthly blog for this website on the subject of the suffrage movement in Nevada through October, 2014.
Descendant of a pioneer Nevada ranching family, acclaimed author and historian, Zanjani is the author of 10 books and 71 articles. Since 1975 Zanjani held the position of Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, prior to retiring in 2009. She earned a Ph.D.in Political Science from New York University.
